Use the Sansa Recovery tool if this question is referring to a Sansa Mp3 player (notice: this will delete all the songs off your player as a side effect).

If your question is not about a Sansa Mp3 player, we will need to have your manufacturer and model numbr to be of maximum assistance.

Does it have any type of company logo on the player? Tell me all the gibberish numbers it has on the back - they mean something to me.

I tried to record a song but there was no sound that came out it just was recording but when i tried ti listen there was nothing recorded. How can i record something on the MP3 player and/or reset it again...

If the recording you made is not in a mp3 file format then the player cannot play that song/music.
To convert music files and CDs to play on a MP3 player, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

I play videos and a lot of my songs say error

Well if like me you use a website like limewire to get your songs, It may be that the files for the song or videos have errors in the files. Try downloading others and if it still doesnt work it may be the place your downloading songs from. If my solution doesnt work please try changing where you get your music from.. Im pretty sure you use something like limewire and if so it may be that its not suitable for your mp3, Try changing it

If it still doesnt work please reply and ill give you a longer description

File format error - Transcend T.sonic 610(1gb)

I had the same problem. I had formatted the player's drive using Windows explorer and the got this error: "File Format error" while trying to play any mp3 file.
I went to the command prompt. Deleted all files:
E:\> del *
Then I copied the MP3 files again in the T.sonic MP3 player. All MP3 files played fine after this.

Transferring MP3 files from PC "C" drive "My Music" folder to SD card

you may want to try downloading only those that didn't download the first time. Sometimes when you try to download a large file (all the songs) it causes the "error message" you talk about. You may want to delete files already downloaded, or save the files downloaded to a different file folder, and try the download again.

The may be a problem with your boot files stored on your MP3 player, try formatting which may fix this problem.

First you go to "Start" - "My Computer" - Now look for something called "Removable Disk" - That is your MP3 Player - Now right-click on it then click "Format" - Now allow format to complete and this should have fixed the problem.

Now you've formatted put some songs on, then unplug then try.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in someway.
