I have a Karbon MP-845 (bought in Canada). The website is www.karbon-electronics.com but it's a work in progress, which means they kind of ****, because in the manual it says all the latest instructions are there. the MP-845 is supposed to play video files, but while the box says it can, the manual says it can't, and refers you to the website.

The one shred of accountability this company seems to have is in their number: 1-888-310-7131

btw I guess whoever reads it could answer my problem if they could

so yeah, the mp-845 has a retarded file system (ie playlists and setting up different folders is a pain in the *** and doesn't fully work) and most of all, i can't seem to add video files to the player...

We need your manufacturer and model number to find that manual for you.

I recently had the same problem with the MP-845 but I managed to figure it out. If you use the AMV converter (download at: http://www.mympxplayer.org/mp3-player-utilities-dc44.html)

or use the software provided, you can convert all your video files to AMV files and add them to the device that way. Step by step instructions for how to convert to AMV files can be found at: http://www.bestshareware.net/howto/how-to-convert-video-to-amv.htm

how to work it

The manual is garbage (there is no fm reciever but the instructions for it are in the manual) LOL ,... and the avi converter isn't even the right one for that player. I have the same one and going to take it back
I bought mine at superstore in Canada , phoned the 1-888# they give, they don't even know what converter will work .the webpage www.karbon-electronics.com is a farse aswell
