If it doesnt smell like a coolant then there may just simply be a small plug has become loose on the front panels or the rain water is making its way in from the roof down behind the panels. This happens if there is a small blockage in the rain water gulleys as the water will find the easiest route.
A simple way to find out is remove a interior side panel , Get a little talcum powder , puff a little on the side. Go outside and tip water down that side and see if the talc becomes wet. You may see the trail of water flowing.

A 99% bet is that the heater coil is leaking. It is located in the dash on the firewall-passenger side.

Why is the carpet wet on the inside passenger side

The door's drainage system could be clogged.

The car door has a drainage system inside which allows rainwater to flow down outside, however over time it gets clogged with dirt and the water accumulation inside will leak into the vehicle.

Go to a mechanic where they can use a pneumatic air gun or some device to clear the blockage.

Locate fuel filter ford ka

Fuel filter is located under the rear of the passenger side. Under the car sill towards the rear tire you will see the petrol tank. The fuel filter is fastened to the side in line with fuel pipe coming from the tank. Easy to replace, but make sure fit the right way round using the flow arrows.

Water fills into the floor on driver's side and passenger side (behind driver). Carpets are soaked through. Happens during rainy weather. I have a Ford KA 1.3

You may have a floor that has rotten through. Go underneath and look at the metal for the floor to check for holes. The rubber around your doors may need changing or there is a hole in the metal around the door or door frame.

Ford Focus 2007 Drivers carpet wet. Water coming down bulkhead. Could there be a drain blocked in the bodywork If it has a drain where is it and what do I need to do to access it Thanks Dave

Carpet wet on passenger side is likely a plugged drain for the a/c evaporator. It should drain on the ground out a small, short rubber hose sticking out of bulkhead on pass side. Or a poorly seated grommet for the evaporator drain. Also check the rear washer hose if it goes through the cowl area to the back wiper.

57 reg Ford Focus Wet carpets on the drivers side. Looks as if water comes down the bulkhead. Seems to get in below wipers Any ideas please

Sounds like you have a plugged heater vent tube, this is on the lower passinger's side firewall. You can usually clean the junk out with a small wire, carfull, water will pour out !

My 2000 Ford Ka Collection passenger seat floor is soaking wet, its not leaking down from under the dash/glove compartment. no where else is damp lets alone soaking. the car is parked on a forwrd slanting...

hi, i have a 98 ka and my passenger side was soaking after raining, tried checking the drainage under the plastic of the windowscreen, couldn't find it. If you take off the radiator bottle you should see a rubber bung where the electric wire goes through, if that is a bit loose it will leak water through, go round it with sealant and this should solve the problem, worked for me!
