Correct Service Manual

I contacted Akai and finally got them to sent me the service manual for the
LCT2662.The problem is some of the PS board component numbers and the connectors do not agree with what is on the schematic I got from Akai.Is there a way to get the correct service manual?As an example there are two components on the board marked L15 and L16 that are not on the schematic and all the connectors are labeled CN followed by a number while the schematic I got from Akai has different pin outs and are label J1-
J4.What gives,are there two versions of the PS?There is nothing on the board to identify it,except on the solder side it is marked F-1918B.
Any info is appreciated.

- Thanks,Bill,but there are two versions of that model TV.There is the new PIP and the old service manual.There is a difference in the SMPSs.You can download the service manuals of almost all AKAI products at
http://esi.fox-international.com
I'm in the process of changing the bad caps.

To my knowledge there are not two versions of the SMPS for that model, but that manual might cover more than one series of that Tv... The part number for the SMPS is
E7802-004001 but if you suspect the supply of having a problem might I suggest repairing it rather than replacement..
There are about 19 caps on that board that have a delinquent history of failing. Replace those and you'll repair the supply in about 99% of the cases..

Submit to research when you call for parts at fox international - if you cannot get the parts - return the television to the customer with the workorder stating the parts are not available rather in warranty or not and the television will be exchanged - but allow 12-16 weeks for the exchange to process. call 800-726-4405 for custromer service (exchange)
