Question about Sanyo HT27546 TV
My kids were watching a video this morning and the tv suddenly turned off and I can't get it to turn back on. I've checked the outlet and the tv power connections and those are fine. This TV is relatively new. Bought in December 2006. Had it in storage due to a cross country move from May to November and once out of storage it ran fine until this morning.
This happened to me with my last Sanyo TV. But that one was 8 years old and I figured it would be easier to just let that one go and get a new one. But one of my neighbors nabbed it off my lawn (I'd put a big free sign on it to save me the trip to the dump) and I'd heard through the grapevine that he had it up and running just fine by opening the set up and flipping a circuit breaker or something. Is that something that I could do with this one? Any help would be appreciated.
Sounds like it is probably just a fuse inside the t.v. May also have a bad diode. I would take it in for an est. if you don't feel good about replacing the fuse. Always have your t.v. unplugged when working on it.
