I just got the same error message with my Windows XP machine. The printer has been working fine for about two years.

Just got the same error today. Anybody have a proper solution for this problem?

This printer isn't garbage, it was a hell of a bargain. I paid $49.00 for it and it worked great for 2 years on the original cartridge.

I had the same problem. I just turned off both the computer and the printer, restarted them and then it worked fine. Not sure if it will work for you.

Sorry for necropost. If you got "No Print(No Csic)" error - check connection between chip on crartridge and contacts in printer.

Fuser Error

I truly believe that you did not take the fuser out. It is not a simple process and is not readily accessible.
You most likely took out the toner cartridge, which works with the fuser.
The fuser is what "fuses" the toner to the paper so the documents print as expected. There are fuser kits that can be purchased, and they usually come with some decent instructions.

in case of new printer
A fuser problem is serious but if it is is a new printer, use the warranty now. Don't play with it as more than likely you can't recover and you *MAY VOID* the warranty in any attempts, so use the warranty. You should have returned it immediately once the problem cropped-up to be within the quicker satisfaction settlement period, you may now have to deal with a warranty center if not the vendor themselves for repair, but start the process. Plus, document this as well, cal,s letters, etc. to best serve yourself if any other problems arise.

To explain what the fuser is, one must explain what the fuser does.

A laser printer works by assembling the page in its memory, then transfers that "image" by scanning a drum. The drum then picks up a charge which will attract the toner. By varying the laser you can induce specific dots, creating an image on the drum. The drum is rotated through the toner, the charge then attracts the oppositely charged toner particles (the uncharged sections don't have anything) The drum, now dark with toner, is touched to the paper, which has an opposite charge, thus transfer all the toner over to the paper. Then the paper is sent THROUGH the fuser, which basically MELTS the toner onto the paper permanently.

If the fuser is too hot, that means the temp control unit for the printer fuser has FAILED, and that is NOT something you can fix by yourself. The labor will likely cost more than the printer unless it's under warranty.

You took out the toner cartridge, which is NOT the fuser. Toner cartridge is just the toner and the drum together in one unit. The fuser is where it warns "high temp! do not touch!"

Just buy another printer or use the backup printer. Again, this is NOT something you can fix by yourself.

KONICA 7145 PRINT DRIVER

The Konica Minolta 7145 have two different companies that made the print controller. If you have an older KM 7145 then you need the old Peerless Legacy driver. It's not on KonicaMinolta's website. You can use HP 5Si driver, but you won't have and of the options (ie finisher, fax, lcc).

KONICA 7020 TAPPING SOUND WHEN PRINTING

Either the toner bottle may have come out a bit, or the toner has become clogged / compacted.

This series copier was notorious for the toner chute / delivery system getting clogged / compacted with toner. Given the fact that the machine was recently transported, this is a very good possibility.

First check the toner bottle, and make sure it's pushed / locked all the way in. You will feel a "click" when the bottle is seated properly.

If it IS locked in, and the noise continues, DO NOT CONTINUE TO RUN MACHINE!!

A clogged / toner chute will undertone the system in a very short amount of time, and will result in a service call being needed, and possibly damaged to internal parts. In severe cases where customers continued to run them, main controls boards have been damaged due to increased loads on the toner / developer drive motors.

Unfortunately, to remedy the problem, you will need to place a call for a tech to come and clean / vacuum out the toner chute / delivery system.

Konica spooling endlessly, not printing. How to reset?

Call tech support! That's why these people get paid. Sites like this wouldn't need to exist if they did their jobs correctly!

Konica Minolta C6500 Error Message

There is a paper somewhere in the copier. Maybe earlier you have a paper jam and one paper or just a part of the paper is still in the copier.

Most likely the paper is near the imaging unit.
