Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook

2 Answers

Problem. Hey alex, I was looking around trying to find your email but I didnt find it. I just noticed that I've got 20 new Inappropriate rateings from outside viewers not the problem posters. I recently had a so called problem with DJNICK in the experts launge. I'm guessing he is doing this on my unrated but valid suggestions. http://www.fixya.com/f/users/ekse/rating-poor take a look around, as I recall when the poster votes a solution there comes a text under the experts post saying that the suggestion has been voted by the owner. Could you do something about these new 20 false Inappropriates. Thanks Niko 'Ekse'

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Pls help me how to stop getting MAILER-DAEMON faillure notice in my indox

That message is telling you that an email that you've sent was not deliverable. Usually because you typed and invalid email address to send it to. If you did not send an email then you've probably got a virus or spam that is automatically sending and receiving emails on your behalf and causing this to happen. If so you'll need to do a full system scan and clean it out. Best of luck to you.

Hey

hey jd....sometimes, people will give you an inappropriate for something they do not want to hear. Just roll it off your shoulders and move on to more problems...there are people who actually appreciates any help they can get (free service), but make sure it is an educated advice, not something thrown in there to receive ratings=)

if they are working then you may jump into getting the adapters' drivers updated.

you may also try to disable them restart the computer, then re-enable them. there other work-arounds that you can try, if you want to go further on this in real-time, lemme have your e-mail address and i will try to communicate with you through instant messenger.

My probable loose screen connection

If you read the other post I sent earlier, sorry about the stupid comment, I was a bit irritated with the inappropriate rating. I pride myself on my high rating here, and try to be as professional as possible, so, again, I apologize.
To get to the screen connection you simply need to remove the screen bezel around the screen and you will see the four screws holding the screen to the hinge assembly. The screws for the bezel are hidden under the small black rubber bumpers, and sticky tabs at the bottom, then it simply snaps off. The bezel is the plastic piece around the viewing side of the screen. Be careful not to break the bezel at the corners when it snaps loose. Check all the connections while you're there, and you may need to replace the clear tape holding the connection in place.
