We have found a heath problem caused by Zojirushi BBCC-X20 rubber gasket. After the mixing cycle a 2 inch ball of black colored dough appeared near on of the rubber gaskets. It appears the rubber gasket material is breaking down and discoloring the dough. This machine is 1 1/2 years old. Any suggestions? I am concerned about what chemicals might be in the rubber gasket?
Hi D Daniel,
I'd start by getting a new part. Gaskets can be made from a variety of materials - and different types of rubber, or silicon, will have different characteristics. The manufacturer should be able to provide this information to a concerned consumer.
I'd go to Zojirushi's Support page at (TinyURL'd for brevity)

There's a Service & Support link at the top of the page - locations of service centers and the like.
You can also call Zojirushi Customer Service Department - -
800-733-6270, M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST.
Also here's a TinyURL for the manual download page, just so you have it.

If these don't pan-out (no pun intended, I think), the next place I'd start hunting is eBay.
If I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.
Thanks in-advance for using Fixya.com,
Jon

I have a "The Breadman Ultimate TR-2200C" machine. I have same experience. But observed the color inside the dough when I use delayed bread programs which ingridients stay at the pan all night long.I belive the solution is change the washer or gasket (red rubber ring inside the pan for TR-2200C)
