    1. I have a 52hm95 I turn the TV on and get sound but no picture. The green light will start to blink after about 30 seconds and the Tv will turn off and back on again. It will do this over and over until I turn in off.

What I usually do if working on a set like this is rule some things out and then Google the model to get to the Toshiba site---see if your model and blink code are listed there.

It looks like you have a weak ballast issue this is a common problem with DLP sets, this ballast board starts to wear out with time and use the lamp needs at least 150w 12vdc to turn on and if your ballast board only feeds it 120w or 130w it will not be able to turn on another thing that this ballast due is gather enough energy ( 150w ) to turn on the lamp then get weak again( 120w ) and can't maintain the lamp on and turn back off

Here's the online manual for your TV:

http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/tacpassets-images/models/42HM95/docs/42HM95_om_e.pdf

Read the section about the red/green lights in front. It sounds like the lamp went out. Mine consistently goes out once every year to year and a half. If you plan on keeping the television, purchase two bulbs, so you have one on hand in case your new one goes out.

Good luck.

No pic...humming noice on 62'' toshiba dlp

was the lamp blown if it was blown you could be hearing the ballast
if the lamp was not blown and the new one did not fix it the red light indicates the door there is a little switch when you put the door back on if you look at it it may need to be adjusted so it will connect with the door if that is not it you could have a fan that is not turn if it is making a real loud constant humming noise while it trying to fire the lamp you probably have a bad color wheel
