My Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 not show anything to display.
Display show only logo & i have connect pc then show "connected USB.the timer and Alarm will become invalid"

Hi,
There is no option in the NWZ-E344 Walkman Player to set an image as Screensaver. You can either set a Blank Screen as Screen saver or the Clock.You can press and hold the BACK/HOME button, select Settings-->Common Settings-->ScreenSaver-->Type-->Desivered type(Clock/Blank).

Sony NWZ-E344 has hold switch on right side, slid hold switch to cancel hold function.
Let me know if model number of mp3 player is different to provide you revised info.

Connect the Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player to your computer using the device's USB sync cable. Wait until your computer detects the MP3 player.

Click the "Start" icon in the taskbar. Click "My Computer."

Double-click "Removable Disk." This will open the root storage directory of your MP3 player, which is where all its files are stored. Locate the "Photos" folder inside this directory.


Drag-and-drop pictures from your computer into the Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player Photos folder: Click on a picture file and hold down the mouse button while moving the file to the Photos folder, then release the mouse button to copy the picture to the folder. You can now view these pictures on your Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player.

If your Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 (8 GB) Digital Media player does not support photo viewing, you can still add pictures to the device. Drag-and-drop the pictures anywhere within the root storage directory. You can transfer the pictures to another computer or any USB-compatible device.

Please reset the player and the fault will be resolved.Check for the reset button hole, depress and hold to reset.
Now connect to the PC, make a good scan and delete off bad files.

First ,let me see have a look at the supported format of walkman NWZ-E344:

MP3 • WMA • AAC -Audio Format
MPEG-1 - Video Format

So i think maybe you need to convert the wmv to MPEG-1 and then put it to your walkman player.

by the way ,if you found you can't find the video when you are using software,maybe it includes DRM-Protection.just guess.

Anyhow ,try the method as you know,i think you will found the right way ..for the software ,personally ,i used this video converter,it can convert wmv to mpeg-1 and it can also remove drm from wmv ...

Hey, I had the same problem, I found the solution!
First, reset your Walkman via a pointy object and the hole in the back. Then, replace the USB cord you use to charge and add music (it's a quite common cord for cameras and can be store bought).

This solved it for me!
