Question about Washing Machines

Cloths not getting dry

I have a Frigidaire Crown Series Washers and Dryer. When we first got the washer it spun very vigerously and dryed the cloths very good before putting in the dryer. The dryer has stopped spinning as fast an does not get the cloths as dry before being placed in the dryer. We have to run the dryer cycle on the dryer several times before the cloths are dry. The dryer temperature is hot. Any ideas.

Id look into a clogged and or kinked exhaust vent. perhaps where it leaves the home theres a screen over the housing thats clogged itself w/lint. its generating heat, thats good now just needs to release it somehow

Front load washers need more maintenance than top load units. you might try some bleach on a rag or some vinegar but it's tough to get off once it starts..Make sure your using HE detergent and definitely leave the door open after loads to let the seal dry

Smelly clothes after washing

yes musty is actually cooked soap
from the dryer
take a clean just washed towel and put it in the washer alone with no soap
turn on the machine and watch what happens you will see the suds start to form
with this unit, if your using too much soap it will be spun into the cloths and then cooked in the dryer
do one towel load without soap then cut you soap usage way back
anything more than a tablespoon is way to much

remember you bought this unit to save water

1/6 the water 1/6 the soap
and he should be less

Washer-dryer # wm3677HW will not dry, heats up, run, on and on

You're a moron. This unit washes and dries. That's the whole point of it. Perhaps you should do some research before answering the question. the most likely cause is the water lever sensor.

This is normal. You can try a lower spin setting or smaller loads. The wrinkles will come out in your dryer.
