Question about Microwave Ovens
I Have a Kenmore Elite over the range microwave. It recently started to take long time to heat as if the power level has been decreased. I checked the power level, and it is set to high. All the items are taking very long to be heated. Can you please help me...
the model # is 721-64663300
This is most likely a failing magnetron.
If it's less than 5 years old, Sears/Kenmore should cover the part, but you would still have to pay for a service call.
If you or someone you know decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk
