Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 Digital Camera
Hello here's the problem with my camera... the shutter button has a first stop where it makes focus, lits the AF illuminator and pops up the flash (if required) yesterday the camera stop doing that and does nothing at that point i can still take pictures but the prior steps (focus. AF illuminator and flash) are done at the second stop only making a quick focus (most of the pictures go blurry) light the af and pops the flash in a fraction of second
i hope you guys could help me with this issue...

The only solution, besides the $181 Sony repair, is probably to put the camera into continous autofocus. When you do this, you see a CAF in the display. Three problems: 1. CAF uses up the battery faster, 2. CAF is fairly slow and it takes a little time until it realizes the need to focus, and 3. you may lose the first flash picture since the flash only pops up just before the shot and it may not be focused.
I agree with all the comments that this is a real bummer.
