Help my washing machine keeps triggering the sockets

It's likely not the machine, but a wireing problem. Pretty sure it should have it's own breaker. Certainly it should be seperated from the main breaker.

First, are you sure there is power to the unit? Check the breakers and post back.

My washing machineis filling to a certain point then flushing everything out about 10 seconds after i'm turning it on. then the play and pause buttons are flashing simultaneously

Please remove power for sometime and replug. If the fault remains then it is possible that the program controller unit is malfunctioning as it gets error message.
check the inlet valve and the flow from the valve to the tub. If the flow is low the pressure sensor will emit an error and shut off. Also check the connections from the pressure sensor from the panel.
Check and see if the filter and drain are clean.
If not the control panel is a suspect.

Maytag Neptune is Stuck on Settings and Will Not Start

DEAR FRIEND,
ngfam1 here for you!
I am happy to be of assistance!

This is an electronic problem. You did right to try and reboot the machine. It probably got a power surge during the storm!!
When there is an electrical storm it is not prudish to unplug or throw the circuit breaker on major electronically run appliances. ALL EXCEPT THE FRIDGE, of course!

I do this some times .

Lightning Storm/Affinity Washer

During a lightning storm, a lightning strike could have induced a high voltage surge in your incoming power lines. Left unprotected from these power surges, the weakest link ( normally low voltage electronic controls) are the most susceptable. Just because you had power available at the wall receptacle after a storm doesn't mean that your washer control system wasn't exposed to one of these surges and got damaged. On the contrary, it is extremely likely that the washer took a 'hit' and was damaged.Other devices plugged into the same receptacle may have survived that hit because electricity travels the path of least resistance.. In this case.. that path may have been thru your washer.. My point being is that your washer could have sustained a power surge and was damaged so don't rule that out. Of course, that surge could have taken an internal fuse or other component out too..

No spin cycle

when it does it only in the spin cycle:
Either bearing or motor.
Best thing to do is: Open the back up and put it in a regular cycle. See if the back of the drum has a lot of play.
take off the belt and feel if there is a lot of play in the shaft of the drum. If not and it moves freely with no grinding sound it is your motor.
