This product can be washed. The cloth portion is snapped on to the board. After you remove the mattress the bottom of the cloth is snapped to a hard board. The whole top part of the bassinet detaches from the frame itself. its just snapped together underneath. once you detach it from the board, the cloth comes right off of it. I put this in my washer machine. It was also given to me and given the fact that its all white i bleached it just to make sure that I got all the stains out. However I might suggest that when you dry it that it go on fluff or low heat because it does strink just a bit and it is a little hard to get back on once it does that. But it CAN BE WASHED. My question for everyone is I need the Canopy Part to it. It didn't have it on there and like I said it was given to me. Is there anyway that I can get that part? I tried going through the customer service of the website and they said they need to know how old it is and what the model number and make number is and Im pretty sure I don't have that. Can anyone help? I only have 6 weeks to go. Thanks

Does boiling water kill bed bugs

If you mean by washing then yes, if you mean by simply spraying then not really......it needs to be a constant stream of hot water, the best method is steam.....you can hire or buy these for a reasonable price:

Bag and launder (122°F/50?C minimum) affected items. Smaller items that cannot be laundered can sometimes be de-infested by heating. Individual items, for example, can be wrapped in plastic and placed in a hot, sunny location for at least a few days (the 122°F/50?C minimum target temperature should be monitored in the center-most location with a thermometer). Bedbugs also succumb to cold temperatures below freezing, but the chilling period must be maintained for at least two weeks. Attempts to rid an entire home or apartment of bed bugs by raising or lowering the thermostat will be entirely unsuccessful.
  • Wash all linen on hot, dry on hot setting. Gather all linen, cloth and leather bags, mattress covers, clothing, teddy bears... etc. Machine wash on hot - wash the laundry bag also. Tumble dry on hot. Steam kills bed bugs. Some metropolitan areas offer bed bug laundry and dry cleaning services which have the added benefits of proven methods for killing bed bugs and bagging or storing cleaned items so they do not become re-infested while the home is still being exterminated.
  • If something cannot be washed or discarded (such as a valuable leather purse) spray with non-toxic bed bug spray (such as diatomaceous earth), seal in a plastic bag and leave for a few months.
  • Dry clean to remove odor if need be.

Let me tell you, it is a big pain! Of course, everything that is "childproof" tends to be. The first time I did it I got so frustrated I shoved the whole circle into the washing machine because once I got the circle out I couldn't get the seat off! (Don't recommend that, my washing machine warped the plastic!).

Here are the instructions on putting it on, just follow them in reverse:

The Dryer is Dead. It will not make a sound when the start button is pushed

Pull the dryer out away from the wall. Unhook the vent from the dryer completely. Do not put anything over the dryer exhaust on the back of the dryer. Do a normal load with the vent unhooked. If it dries better or OK like this then the problem is in the dryer venting. Like a blocked vent pipe or a smashed or restricted vent hose.
If the vent doesn't make a difference, then check the blower wheel for excessive lint build up, check that there isn't anything stuck to the air intake baffle inside the drum, (i.e. the screen on the back wall of the dryer when looking into the drum). Check the lint filter chute for blockage. Check that the heating element isn't shorted to ground. Check the exhaust temperature of the dryer. A meat or pocket thermometer can be used for this. It should cycle approx between 120 degrees and 160 degrees ( without clothes ). Check that the drum seals are not worn out.
Be careful in using laundry products not to spill them on the exterior surface of any washer or dryer. Wipe up any spills promptly with a damp soft cloth or paper towel. Most exteriors are painted synthetic enamel, which can be damaged or removed by chlorine bleach, ammonia, solvents or other chemicals often used in laundering and stain removal. Do not use dryer top as a work-top for stain removal unless it is protected by a heavy plastic cover, or for rust removal. Use the sink instead and follow remover product label directions exactly, including flushing the sink with cold water.
Do not spray per-wash stain removers on clothing on top of the dryer unless the top is protected completely; this may corrode plastic control parts as well as paint.
Clean lint filter after each load for efficient drying. If the load is loaded with lint, clean the filter part-way through the drying cycle also. Clean out the exhaust vent system at least once a year, and be sure it is not clogged at any time. NEVER vent a dryer into the house; vent to the outside
If crayon gets into the dryer and melts onto the drum, remove as much as possible with non-flammable household cleaner. (READ LABEL TO BE SURE.) A flammable cleaner could cause a fire in the dryer. Apply cleaner to a sponge or cloth and the wipe interior. Do NOT spray or pour on the interior; it might get down inside the dryer. Wipe off with rags or paper towels. Then tumble old rags to remove any residue left, until no more comes off. A colored stain may remain on the drum.
If a drum is spotted by starched or tinted articles, wipe the interior with a cloth moistened with a diluted bleach solution. Use a sponge or clean cloth, dipped in suds, to remove the bleach solution from the drum. Rinse well and dry.
If the dryer is used to dry laundered clothing, such as children snow pants between outings, wipe the drum with suds and rinse. This will remove any dirt before clean laundry is placed into the machine.
Wipe the door opening occasionally. Clean the exterior with suds and rinse. To protect the finish, polish with an appliance wax.
A case of white clothes coming out of a dryer blue: New jeans had been washed and then dried in that dryer just before. Sometimes dye will come off new blue jeans and dry on the inside of the dryer drum, and then transfer to the next batch of wet clothes put inside. It's good to check the dryer drum after a load of brand new jeans. If it is dye coated, clean the inside with soapy water until no color comes off on the cleaning cloth. Wipe off all soapy residue with a clean wet cloth.
Check with your state or city to see if you need a permit to work on your gas dryer before doing any repairs. The first thing you need to do when your GE-HP gas dryer is not heating, is to check to see if your dryer ignite is glowing or not.
please comment on these solution by staying now helpful

If the ignite glows, the problem could be the gas valve, the coils or the gas supply to the dryer.
If the ignite doesn't glow, then you need to check the following parts.

The igniter:
The igniter is a resistor made of ceramic and other materials that will get red hot when electricity passes through it.
The job of the igniter is to open the contacts on the flame sensor and ignite the gas. A bad igniter could be the reason why your GE-HP gas dryer is not heating.

The flame sensor:
The flame sensor is located on the combustion chamber, the job of the flame sensor is to open the gas valve and shut off the igniter. A bad flame sensor will cause the dryer not to heat.

The timer:
The timer is a distribution center where the electricity is directed to the different electric parts in the dryer.

The mayor problem you will find inside of the timer are burnt contacts.
When the contacts are burnt, there is no way for the electricity to reach the intended parts. Contact B & A have to be close in order for the electricity to travel to the temperature switch.

The temperature switch:
This switch is another distribution control. It take electricity from the timer and send it to the selected parts on the thermostats. If your GE-HP dryer is not heating, this is one of the parts you need to check.

The thermostats:
There are three different thermostats in most dryers. From the temperature switch electricity has to pass trough the safety thermo left, the drum outlet thermostat, the control inlet thermostat, and to the heating elements.
A bad thermostat could be the reason why your GE-HP gas dryer is not heating.

The motor switch:
The motor switch has two contacts that allows the heating elements to be turned on, only when the motor is running..

ASKO washer WL6511XXLPP

Purchased ASKO Washer WL6511XXLP and Gas Dryer with pedestals, 12/01/09. It threw a drum paddle during 2nd. wash cycle. Damaged several articles of clothing.
ASKO replaced the paddle 2/19/09 after a lot of phone calls (lip service from the ASKO 800 #). They claimed the part had to come from Sweden (reason for delay).
Washer threw another drum paddle during 4th. wash cycle. Damaged several more articles of clothing. We have made no claim for the damaged clothing, the retailer has been cooperative.

ASKO has promised to replace the washer after the retailer we purchased the washer from, strongly encouraged them to do so. We are still without a washer (03/23/09). My wife and I are retired, I am 76. Point being; we do not abuse washing machines and we don't like going to a launder-mat.
I know this is not the venue to address this problem, but am at my wits end.

Printing problem and paper jams

Hi,

I understand that you are receiving Paper Jam error on the printer front panel of the All-in-one.

This issue may occur because of dirty rollers and is unable to feed the paper.

Please follow the below given instructions to resolve the issue.

Please remove the All-in-One Printer from the Power Surge Protector and plug it directly into a wall Power outlet, as the surge protector may not provide enough power to printer.

Clean the Paper feed rollers by following the below given instructions:

Here are the steps to clean the rollers :

1)Turn off the all-in-one.

2)Unplug the power cord from the back.

3)Remove the rear access door .

4)Clean the rollers one at a time using a clean cloth that is slightly dampened with clean water (preferably distilled water). Rotate the roller to clean the entire surface.

5)Verify that the three paper feed rollers on the rear access door are clean and rotate freely.

6)Reinstall the rear access door and then plug the power cord back in.

7)Turn the all-in-one back on

Clean the print cartridges by following the below given instructions:

Using a clean, dry lint-free cloth (a coffee filter works well), wipe the cartridge contacts, from the top to the bottom. The contact area of the cartridge should be rubbed briskly to remove the waxy lubricant material from the gold contacts. The contacts inside the printer may also require cleaning. Using a clean, dry, lint-free cloth, gently wipe the contacts, from the top to the bottom.

Reset the All-in-One to the factory default settings by using these instructions:

1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.

2. Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One.
Note:
A semi-full reset will do the following:
The user settings to the factory defaults, Language and country settings on some models, Fax logs, Fax headers, Fax speed dial information.
If you are receiving the paper jam error on the computer, then follow the instructions from the below given article in order to resolve the issue.

Kirby G 6 but it only blows air out, no suction. Also how do you detach the cloth bag to wash it?

I have the solution for the cloth bag laundering process...

Here is a link to my guide for cleaning the Kirby cloth bag...

http://reviews.ebay.com/DEODORIZING-CLEA...

It should be helpful. :0)

The Tech Drive problem SHOULD be able to be fixed easily and fairly cheaply by a vac shop or Kirby distributor. There is an adjustment that needs to be made, but it shouldn't require purchasing any parts.

It most likely is fabric softener. You need to clean dispenser with hot water, if this has one. In real cold water the softener won't disolve properly and will cause this to happen.
