I downloaded norton 2008 on march12,2008 and charged my credit card $59.99 and i turn my computer on tody and they inform me i have 23 days to renew charline mc grath 13070 s w allen blvd beaverton, oregon what is going on? my order number is 4135474212 norton 360 verizon upgrade. what is going on???

    Even though you have paid your subscription, have you 'activated' the software? If you haven't, it will keep telling you that there are only a few days left etc.

    well..this arena has little to do with norton account activity. You will do better on www.norton.com, methinks. and try the live chat or Cust Service line

Hi there bud... if it was unwanted charge , try contact Norton through there contact page and inform them of what has happend , then ask for a refund aswell....
Make sure you did not set that you will allow them to reactivate your license when is expires...

Laptop infected with worm.


Nortons sucks. you should try an anti-virus scan with Malwarebytes, then you should install Avast as your resident protection. 

Be sure, when uninstalling Nortons, to use the uninstallation tool found on the nortons site. if you use the regular windows uninstaller, it will not remove all of it, and it will slow your computer down.

Run Norton antivirus and click on fix where in you can subscribe online with credit card.

Better call Symantec customer service and inform them about this charging problem on your credit card 1-800-695-0678.

I purchased norton 360 version 2.0 order no 1849616067 iwish to use it on my laptop since 3 month free useage expires in 2 days could you please instruct me how to do this as i believe i can use this...


Dear Sir/Madam,

Norton 360 2.0 may be installed on three computers at one time. If you have the product on a CD, you can install it on other two computers using the same CD and the same Product Key. Go to the section "I have a CD version".
If you have purchased the download version of Norton 360 2.0, you need to download and install Norton 360 2.0 on the other two computers, using the same purchase order details. Go to the section "I have a download version".
I have a download version
1. Go to the Symantec Store Order Status Web page on your second or third computer where you want to install Norton 360 2.0.

2. Type your order number and password to log on, and click Find your Order. You will see your order information.
If you do not know your order number and password, you can look up your order using your emailaddress and last 5 digits of your credit card.

On your Order Summary, click Start Download.
If you purchased your product more than 60 days ago, you can click Buy Now to buy the Extended Download Service and download the product again.

Double-click the file that you downloaded.

Read the License Agreement, type your Product Key if prompted, and then click I Agree.
If you do not accept the License Agreement, you cannot continue the installation.

In the Installation Options panel, review the options, and then click Next.

Follow the on-screen instructions.
