Infra red light is present all about us. It is generated by most types pf artificial lighting, and also by the sun. If yo have an infra red beam that is misfiring, it probably relates to some reflected light from a fast moving source that is triggering your beam. Hope this helps, not really sure what a beak beam is... guessed it was a typo. Give me a bit more about your problem if i ahve not helped thus far

No, the beam must be interrupted by a solid object that blocks it from reaching the sensor. In saying that, they are not infallible, and sometimes, particularly high levels of reflected light like the afternoon sun bouncing off a passing car may trigger the sensor also by overloading it temporarily. You can often adjust this out with a sensitivity adjustment on the sensor. Good luck, hope this information has helped. Feel free to ask more questions if you wish.

I want install tata photon+ in linex

many mobile phone companies don't provide drivers for linux.

But there is a software i would personally recommend to you. Actually its not a software, its a shell script.

Name of the software is "Sakis3g". It can connect to mobile phones and other mobile devices which can be detected by linux kernel. You can use IR, Bluetooth, even USB cable to connect to your device.

You can use this software for the following

  • connect to mobile devices by IR, bluetooth, USB Cable

  • Send and receive files between computer and device

  • Access Internet from Device by Dial Up Networking

  • Browse files on Mobile device

  • Mount the mobile device on a user specified mount point or communication port.

  • usually it mounts connected mobile device to /dev/rfcomm0. Through this port, you can communicate with the device .

  • Connect to USB Modem (Like Reliance DataConnect, TATA Photon, IDEA Netsetter etc.)

  • ability to connect to any locked/unlocked USB Internet Modems (Zero Devices)

fully automated connection setup. No manual input is needed except to specify connection name.

You can find more details and download Sakis3g from this address

hope this will help you to solve your issue.

R U running XP or vista?
Be sure to make the difference when selecting drivers. Normally the drivers will be in a zip package. Download, unzip and then goto control panel - system and uninstall devices and then "action" scan for changes. This will reinstall the drivers from the unzipped location, ( U may have to tell it where they are). Good Luck
