Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console

1 Answer

Ds lite not starting

The power and charging lights work, but nothing appears on the screen. The game makes no difference. No obvious damage. It could be in sleep mode.

Lenovo idea pad 300 won't turn on. Red power light blinks 3times then switches off. Rebooting doesn't work. Tried different adapter. Power on Lenovo screen appears for 5 seconds then goes black.

Sometimes they 'crash' in sleep mode. Try hold the power button down for 10 seconds. This should make it reset. After the 10 seconds, release the power button. Then press it again to turn it on normally.

Asus k50 will not start

If the light on the pc, not the power supply is orange this usually means the pc is not comming out of sleep mode. Try the obvious and restart it. If that does not work, attempt starting in safe mode and go to your control panel and turn off all power saving, screen saver, and sleep mode options.

My ds lite just switched off and it was charged

Hi, so if you try switching on the ds lite, nothing at all happens ??
Does the green light flash even if it is for like a split second. If it does then it is more likely top be a blown fuse. If 1 of your screens flicker also, this could be your problem as the ds will not start up with a broken screen. Please advise

Sleep mode is blinking. i cannot restart

Have you tried holding the power button for a few seconds till it restart. If that does not work try removing the battery. Once you get it started go to power options and turn off sleep mode and hybrid sleep under advanced settings.
Thanks for using FixYa

Black screen on start up

Hello,

When you turn on the laptop and get a black screen, does it sound like the computer is still running(are any lights lit up etc) ? If so, then you possibly have a bad video display. I would highly recommend visiting a repair shop or contacting the manufacturer of our laptop for service repairs.

If the laptop is plugged up to any other display, or TV , unplug it and reboot.

If it does not sound/look like your laptop is actually turning on then you may have a power issue. You can try some of the following tips to see if it resolves your issue.
-Leave the laptop charging for 10 minutes then try and turn it on. It may not be charged up enough.
-Try a new power cable
-Try a new battery
-Try a different wall to charge the laptop.

Regards,
G33k

Nothing working on screen when fully charged

Make sure all games and accessories are removed. If you cannot get it to work, you will have to get the unit services because you need the ds reset.

there is also a possibility that the motherboard is damaged or the IOS for the unit.

If this unit was modded in anyway, the unit could be in a bricked mode. Bricked means useless and a paper weight.

N64 power light comes on, but nothing comes on the screen.

It appears that your power supply is fine (you still get a power light) however your internal game board has a problem. I realize you said that you have eliminated all the other components (very smart process of elimination) so the only thing that has not been swapped is the console itself. I think you've already come to the conclusion that the N64 needs to be repaired, and you just need to hear it from someone else. Unfortunately, the console needs to be repaired. Again, you did a great job isolating the problem, so you've done all the hard work.

DS Lite: Green light turns on,

Im pretty sure when it gets to the point where it doesn't recognize its own screen is when its time to get a new ds. But if you really want to find out if it can be fixed (and don't mind paying more then its worth) you could to it to electronic shop or best buy to have them look at it.
