Is the disc a cd or a dvd? try copying the files inside that game and burn it on a mew cd or dvd then insert the disc into your game console and check if it reads. Pm me if it works or not. thank you..
I am having the same problem with my PS2, but I have an HDD inside of mine. I am told this is a circuit problem inside the PS2 that doesn't allow the information to be transfered to the RAM.That's why you see “No Data” instead of the usual problem of “Disc Read Error”.I hate to say it, but it sounds like you are going to have to do the same thing I am about to do.Send it in to Sony and get it repaired.
I am also pretty sure this PS2 you are talking about is the large fat one, and not the slim one.
