AVR2106 blown channel parts list

Hi, I cannot find any buttons named "I have the same problem" on other questions so I post mine as new problem.
I identified one blown output transistor from the surround left channel although I was listening in stereo mode (but with high power output).

tech48 apparently know what parts must be changed when repairing an output channel (http://www.fixya.com/support/t761876-volume). I have schematics from service manual and I htink I can guess what to change, but I want to be sure if possible.

My guess :
- 4 x 0R22 between the two output transistors
- 2 x 4R7 linked to the base of each output transistor
- 1 x 2K7 and 1 x 3K in serial with VR1 (to adjust idle current)
- 1 x 2SC947F
- 1 x 10µF/50v (in parrallel with 2SC947F collector / emitter).

Am I right ?
Thanks in advance.
Fred.

Though any transistor(s) might well have gone and the capacitor could be changed, I see no reason to change any resistor unless it's burnt up or giving an incorrect resistance reading. A multi-meter will tell you if a resistor is working or not, if it's not dead or weak it won't make a lot of difference to the circuit, but replacing it will simply cost you more money!

WHY DOESN'T MY RCA RCRH02BR 2-DEVICE UNIVERSAL REMOTE CHANGE CHANNELS WHEN ALL OTHER COMMANDS DO WORK?

this gave me a headache too. It's funny yet simple.they have tv mode channels locked by default. Should tell you in the manual. But just hold down Sat/cbldtc button. At same time hold the channel down button until light comes back on. Then press the enter button. Now it's unblocked. Don't forget to press tv button again to work buttons.

Not all buttons on All for one URC-2981 remote control working for Sinotec TV

• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code
Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.

If all other buttons work, and only guide button doesn't, your remote control need cleaning. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Check this link and select the site named above. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu at the left top corner or the display window. It will make search easy. Some times, the ads attached with each posts might help you to find the availability of spare parts. There are more than 625 posts to different brand TVs. Pull up older posts there. Denon AVR2106 One output channel shorted and blown. 2 power transistors shorted, emitter resistors and base resistors blown Have replaced all, including bias transistor I think bias is still wrong (no...

I would also replace 2sa992 (2pcs) and 2sc1845 on preamp board- sometimes they look ok when you test them by regular meter. Check 1.2 kOm and 4.7ohm resistors at preamp pcb. Check diodes on output pcb (could be smd type, connected from base of output transistors to emitter i think)

Sat button lights up and remote will not function

Hi, my name is Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. It sounds like your remote may need to be readdressed to your receiver box. I will list here for you the instructions on readdressing your remote to your DISH receiver. Another thing you may want to check is the batteries, make sure they are in the remote correctly and that they are fresh batteries. If you have any further questions or concerns post back here or email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to help! :)

Instructions for addressing remote to receiver

  1. Go to System Info screen. You can do this by either pressing the system info button on the front of the DISH receiver box or by pressing the power button once and the channel up button once on the front of the receiver. You may need to open the little door on the front right side of the receiver to locate the buttons.
  2. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
  3. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote. Change the number to something different then what is already listed in the white square.
  4. Press the pound (#) button
  5. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful the number selected in step 3 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

Denon AVR2106 receiver lost center channel, third time

Its possible you center channel is fried and keeps burning up the channel output on the reciever. Next thought is that, yes it was a bad model. First make sure that the speaker is good by putting another speaker in its place, or by checking the speaker with another system for sound quality. If it sound high pitched and it takes alot of volume to hear, than its toast and get rid of it.
