Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One paper jam error

No jam sounds like the teeth aren't engaging on print cartridge carriage final pass. When the cartridges move all the way left there is a scraping zipper like sound & the error message appears again. Called HP & they said it might be a hardware/sensor issue. I'm out of warranty & don't have the bucks to pay for their troubleshooting. Help is more than greatly appreciated

Well...let's just say your printer is speaking to you clearly...and too bad about warranty...you may want to consider a replacement printer, and recycle that one responsibly.

you may find a solution through this link(look for the google search, and select the fixyourownprinter.com option button).

Not printing

If either a paper jam or blocked carriage error message appears
in the front panel display there might be some packing material
inside the HP Officejet. Lift open the print-carriage access door to
expose the print cartridges and remove any packing material or
other items that do not belong there.

Sounds like the printer isn't passing the self diagnostics. Check for paper jams, pull the paper out and put it back in, check the ink cartridges.. unplug the equipment for about 30 minutes.
