Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
could you please help me,
i'm trying to connect to xbox live via a wireless laptop through a netgear dg834g router.
the laptop can find the xbox but when i do the test connection it fails
xbo is connected via an ethernet cable
Do you mean that you are trying to access Xbox live by hooking it up to your laptop? If so, make sure you have your Ethernet cable plugged into you laptop and xbox. You will need to go to your computer and get into your Network and Sharing Center. On the left, click Manage Wireless Networks/Manage Networks Connections. Hold Ctrl down and then select the Xbox and your Internet, right-click on them and select bridge connection. That should allow your computer to act as a router for your Xbox.
