as far as i know motorola v3 usb is a plug and play. no need to have a software just to browse your device. try to plug it on windows xp. make sure that other usb device is pluging aside from your phone. if not then the problem isnt on your phone, its on your computer. if the usb device on your computer is the problem, then try to download a usb 2.0 driver for your pc and it should be done.
Hi 1st u change ur data cable. then the installer cd put in ur computer > window show a msg found new hardware > click no not this time and next > 1st opption click atometically install and next > finish and restart ur computer.98% ur problem is solved and 2% is hardware problem contact ur nerast deler of motorola.

first o f all ur computer shoud detect ur phone as a usb modem and should install driver for it.after this you will need mobile phone tools software to transfer multimedia between ur mobile and computer.
