USB cables do not need drivers. The device that is attached to the USB cable may need a device driver.

try downloading NOkia Connectivity Driver from Nokia's Website... Download and install it...Restart your computer and then connect your cellphone to the computer via Data Cable...

A USB cable driver is need to be installed for the USB cable to work and this driver comes with the cable itself. insert the cd, let the wizard open, click on install and follow the steps or after the wizard is open, click on the option for installing driver for USB cable. You can find 2.0 USB drivers at www.intel.com but Vista comes with USB drivers built in. If you're having trouble seeing a device that you plug in with a USB cable it's probably not the drivers for your USB port but a problem with the periferal that you're plugging in.

Before you can do this, you need to have a phone cable and its driver. The phone cable should be for your phone model, likewise the drivers. Insert the cable into your phone and the other part with is a USB into your computer, your computer will request for a driver, then you can insert the drivers into your CD Rom and allow it to install.

But if you don't have the drivers, you could also use the internet to install the drivers. Once your computer is connected to the internet, and the cable ask for driver, click find drivers via internet connection or as the case may be.

Uninstall drivers and remove usb cable.
re-install drivers without usb attached.
Reboot and attach usb cable

USB cables are just that. No drivers are needed. What it is searching for are the drivers for the device that is plugged in via the USB cable.

the printer is designed to work with a parallel cabel connection. usb to parallel conversion cables may or may not work. 
now for the second part is, about the driver (visit manufacturers website for updated drivers), usb driver behaves differently compared to parallel drivers as it expects a usb printer connected to a computer. try both drivers. remember, it may or may not work.

Hai i purchased a data cable and drivers cd for nokia 6030. But the driver cant be installed on vista.
