Proview 15" tft screen vga cable

I have a 15" tft screen.
I need a replacement vga cable for it.
It is not a convential cable it has a 15 pin socket one end and a small white plastic plug the other.
I have E-mailed proview with no response what's so ever.
I have googled and nothing.
I know this is an old screen but it worked great.
Please help

    Model no. is bm 568
    this is an obsolete model.
Someone must have one of these leads.

Its very easy to fix this problem. The 1st step that you must do is get the old monitor that you have and perform a FUSION-HA technique, then! 2nd step you must focus all your ki power and ascend to level 3 before performing the Kio-Ken and Super Kamehameha on your old monitor....I hope this this is usefull. Thank you

So if I take a VGA Cable from a CRT montitor and swap out the white 28 pin female connector from inside the monitor while matching the pin wires to those listed in your last post should it work?

Model 2200W Proview LCD Monitor - How do I connect it to HP Laptop?

Since you don't provide the laptop model, I assume your PC has at least a 15 Pin VGA connector. You will need a 15 pin male VGA to 15 pin male VGA cable, just plug it at the laptop and the monitor, that should do. If your laptop has also an HDMI or DVI or Display Port, you will need a proper cable or adapter.

Can a monitor be hooked up with my laptop

Yes, but i ur laptop must have a VGA 9-pin, or a VGA 15-pin output, so just put the wire in that output, and into your monitor, and it should work

The moniter blacked out, blue light is saying the moniter is still on, but screen looks like there is no power. When you turn on the moniter, the screen shows up for a few seconds, then blacks out again!...

Unplug power. Unplug VGA cable. Remove back of monitor. (four small Philips headed screws along the bottom rear. Remove screws attaching Monitor to it's base. Carefully, lean the screen away from back of case. Gently unplug 25 pin cable from the screen.
Connect AC power.
Screen should power on Gray to White. Ble light comes on Blue.Flickers then changes to Amber.
Reconnect VGA cable. Monitor should work.
Close up the monitor in reverse order to opening it.
If these steps don't solve your monitor, consider replacing as cost of repairs may shock you.

My Proview Technology 15' tft is fluctuating from last week...actually it is minor fluctuation..i tried to solve this problem by removing speakers form it's side but it doesnt effect this...

Magnet does not affect the LCD panel like the CRT monitor because LCD dose not use electron beams for display function.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

My monitor does not work right. it says vga not support.. its a proview 17" flatscreen..active matrix tft lcd

I suspect your Computers Display settings need adjustments and or a Driver from Proview installed...therefor if you can get on the net, I would look at FAQ's on Proviews Website, i.e:

hope that helps,

Elizabeth, I poked around last night but couldn?t find an absolute answer to your question so I didn?t post an answer. Since no one else has answered it I?ll share my best guess. Your monitor probably uses a standard 110v power cable. Take a look at your power socket on the monitor and compare it to this picture on Ebay and chances are good the socket end will match your monitor. http://cgi.ebay.com/Computer-power-cords-110V-10A-IEC-C-13-lot-of-10_W0QQitemZ190083846330QQihZ009QQcategoryZ45342QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Your video cable may be a little trickier. Assuming your monitor and your computer video card both have standard 15 pin VGA sockets (?D? shaped connector about 1? long with three rows of little holes) this cable listed on Ebay or one like it will work for you. http://cgi.ebay.com/6FT-VGA-SVGA-COMPUTER-MONITOR-CABLE-HIGH-QUALITY-LCD_W0QQitemZ280083462294QQihZ018QQcategoryZ41999QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem If these don?t match the connector ends on your monitor let us know, and as always please don?t forget to rate this posting.
