Sounds like a defrost failure. Look on the back wall of the freezer from the inside. If it is covered in ice your defrost system has failed. Also check the fan motor in the freezer. If it is not running it must be replaced.
first check your damper door from the freezer to the refrigerator compartment make sure its in the proper position. Then turn off the refrigerator for a few hours until the heavy frost melts away. turn on the refrigerator check the refrigeration cycle, is it working properly, is it going into defrost are the defrost heaters working.
you need to turn the frezzer downso it lets more cold air into frig. and put the frig setting back in the middle, aslo vac off your coils under the frig.all this should work,if not let me know, also check to see if you have any frost buildup on the freezer walls-mike
there are 3 ways it can be held on,screws, snaps, clips or slides one way up or down or side to side,to make sure what you have get the model number from inside the frig. ,go to sears .com click on parts put in your model number and your whole frig diagram will come up and you will see exactly how it comes apart, let me know how you do-mike
check in the freezer back wall for frost might be defrost problem or if it has a thermistor it might not be working opening is your freezer 0 or below? 5 year warrant on compressor and sealed system read fine print on papaers if you still have them.may also be in defrost computer board if its a defrost problem
This is an error code that pertains to the evaporator motor but could also be the main board. If the evaporator motor is running, the main board will probably need to be replaced. It could be a wiring problem but it's not very likely.
If the motor is not running, some voltage checks will need to be made, at the motor and board, to determine which component has failed. These checks require a meter and can be difficult to make, even for a technician.

is the fan in the freezer running? if not then the air cant circulate and nothing will cool properly. if is running, is there frost build up on the inside back wall of the freezer? if so you have a defrost problem. if no frost on the back and the fan is running, remove the back panel inside the freezer and make sure all of the silver coils have light frost on them. if only part of them are frosted get out your manual and look at the warranty section. then seal system may have a 5 year warranty. if it does then call sear for warranty service. if the coils only have partial frost and its not under a 5 year warranty buy a new frig. because repair will cost more than its worth
