Replace the batteries for starts. If the remote was having any buttons pressed for a long period of time, the power capacity of those batteries is quite diminished...accordianman

When I press the ok button on my remote to select a channel or recording, the on-screen cursor jumps down to the next item listed and I am unable to select the item I want.

First thing to try is the batteries in the remote. Use new fresh ones, the second this is to see if it is a radio or light controlled remote. If it is radio then you have something causing interference. If it is light control then the remote is probably bad. There are parts in the remote that don't survive falls in some cases

I need the code for this TV so I can program my Dish Network Remote to control the volume and power.

Hello! My name is Becki Barned, with DISH Network. This process is very simple. Just follow the steps that I have laid out below. I hope this helps!

1. Hold down the Clear TV button until all lights at the top of the remote light up
2. Press the red TV POWER button
3. Press and release the up arrow on the remote about once a second until the tv turns off.
4. When it turns off, press the # (Pound) button
5. Try powering the tv on/off, and try the volume. If one or more of these functions do not work, start over at step 1 again.
