Question about Hitachi PJTX100 Multimedia Projector
When powering up my Hitachi HDP J52 the fans sarts then stops. It does this several times and then finally will not start at all. The light does not go on as well. I tried changing the bulb, cleaned the filter still no luck.
These small fans are prone to failure; try to access the blades to see if they are being impeded by accumulated dust and also push gently on the blades, left then right, to see if there is any wobble of the shaft.
The fan probably has a sleeve bearing and these are prone to wear and also to stick.
