Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

I recently purchased a MP3 player from you (order ID 210256). I charged it and it goes on but I can get no sound to come, even though it says "playing". It says on the front : "Install software on enclosed CD before connecting device to PC". I received no CD with my order. How do I get it to play? Do I need a CD to do this? Peggy clark

My computer will not recognize my gigaware 4GB video mp3 player and when i plug it into the computer a battery pops up on the mp3 player screen even though it has been charging for one day and i can not...

I'm not with this brand specifically, but it does sound a lot like the iPod so I will try to help...
Even though the battery is most likely fully charged, it will continue to show the battery symbol to show that it is charging/charged. Depending on the brand, there will be a different symbol between a charging battery and a charged battery.
As for your music, make sure you have the most current driver(s) installed on your computer.
Also try searching FixYa for similar problems.

Hi i recently purchased a samsung mp3 player.. its they YP-K3, 2GB model, red in colour, anyway when i got home it wouldn't charge.. I thought at 1st it was faulty but borrow a friends charger just 2 make...

The easy way is to buy another cable, you can find them on ebay for less than $5.00 with shipping included.
Go to Ebay and put in the search box your Samsung model and it will take you to lots of cables for your player
I hope this helped, Please Rate me

My mp3 goes dead about once a week even though it

How long have you had it and how long has it been doing this?
What sort of batteries does it take?
Sounds like a battery connection fault, or a faulty battery to me.
Does it work from a mains connection (power supply)?
Do you mean that by leaving it sitting idle for 3 days after the fault appeared, it suddenly starts to work again? Without the charger connected? Sounds like a definite connection problem. Do you have a spare battery you can try in it? That woud be the most likely thing you can do for it. If that doesn't fix it, it will have a fault that a technician will have to repair. Sorry, can't help more than that.

Loss of sound

Try the following:
1) Check your headsets. Use another player to test it. If it works then the problem is within your MP3 Player.
2) Adjust the volume. If it does not work...
3) Reset your MP3 player by pressing the reset button found below the volume buttons.
4) Unlock the hold switch.

This is I read from another site, the mp3 player must be on in order for it charge. Make sure the power is on. Next if you are not using it make sure you turn it off, because even if it goes into shut down or low power mode it can still drain the battery.
