Keeps turningoff my tv will only turn on whenever it likes. I left it on for about a month last time and it stayed on and worked good for that time but as soon as i turned it off nothing again for a week or so then it fires up again any clue why this is happening? there is no sound at all when i try and turn it on. do you have a link for a service manual for this tv? I am not a technition but I am an electrician so maybe I can figure something out. Any thing you can think of why this is happening could help. Thanks

I just posted a link for the manual. I would think that it may be solder related. RCA has some issues with their solder especially around the flyback and tuner sections.

Why my Schaub Lorenz tv the last six months keeps starting up at maximum volume every time i turn it on no matter what the volume level was the last time the tv was turned off ?

Hi, Dimitris,
The memory chip in the main board of your TV seems to have gone bad. Please see if someone can replace it, or the main board has to be changed.
Good Luck.

I purchased a SUPRA 32 LED TV FULL HD Model No SLED32OT9001R from UAE 3 months back and from the last few days TV is not working even the power led at the front pannel doesnt shows power.

Be sure the power cord is plugged in to the a/c outlet fully. Take a table lamp and plug in the same outlet to verify power is good. If no power, check for circuit breaker tripped in main breaker box.
If problem seems to stay with tv, I would contact seller. You should have at least nine months of warranty left.

Currently the TV will not turn on at all. It is dead. For the last several months the TV would often shut off after being on for 1 to 3 minutes. It could take up to 4 attempts to turn on again & stay...

i suspect it is capacitors on the power board that are failing on it. I am not familiar with this particular model. But i would say that is what it is, you can usually tell which ones are bad because they will be bulging at the top

Left tv unplugged for a few months no tv won't turn on

The first thing to do is try to turn on the set with the remote and then when it doesn't respond go to the set and hold down the MENU and INPUT buttons at the same time until the power LED starts blinking a two sequence code. Like 2 - 4 or 1 - 2. The code will keep blinking for five or six times and stop. The blinking is the microprocessor telling you why the set is not working. We techs call that a self diagnostic function. Which this set has. Just repost your findings.

2007 Kia rondo interior lights stay on when headlights turned on

I had the same problem for months. Finally took it to the dealer. The first time, they diagnosed is as a short in the rear interior bulb, and put in a new bulb. Got it home and still had the same problem.

The second time in, they figured things out. On the dash to the left of the steering wheel is a knob that controls the brightness of the dash lights. But, if this knob is all the way on, it turns on the interior lights and keeps them on. Just had to turn this knob down, and the problem was solved!

HDTV problem-keeps turning off on initial power up

The fact that the set works after a while suggests that there are bad connections that the heat "fixes". If you can solder, open up the set and resolder any connections that appear grainy or have rings. That should resolve it unless there is a component that is starting to fail. Update this if the soldering does not fix it.
