Check under hood distribution box, left hand fender well, there is a relay inside, it is the fan relay, common for it to burn contacts and sometimes the wires in the box, pull and check. Hope this helps, let me know.

II have a 2010 chev malibu the heat and cooling fan does not work

Check for power at the fan resistor wire to the resistor, if power. change the resistor block itself. it controls fan speeds. Most resistors are beside the blower fan, below glove box. You may have to remove a panel to get to the fan resistor. check all fuses first! Even under hood fuse box.

Where is the cooling fan thermostat on a 99 ford contour

The cooling fan is controlled by the coolant temperature sensor near the thermostat, and when it senses too high temperature of the coolant, it operates the fan relay.
Check the fuse for the cooling fan, the cooling fan relay, and the fan itself for proper operation. You can use a multimeter to see if power is getting to the sensor. If not, and you find the fuse is good, then you'll have to find the break in the wire.

Check fuse number 23 (20 amp) and fuse 12 (40amp) in the under hood fuse block. If you look inside the cover the fuses are typically labeled cooling fan 1, cooling fan 2 or something similar. The relays should also be labeled high speed and low speed cooling fan or something similar.

the cooling fan fuse is located in the main fuse panel, location of which should be in your owners manual if you have one if not call the dealer and ask.it could be the cooling fan motor itself not working or the cooling fan relay.to check the cooling fan if you disconnect the plug on the back of the motor and feed direct power and ground to the terminals of the motor.if the fan starts to work then it is okay.to change the cooling fan it is a job for a shop to do as it entails alot parts removal to get to the fan itself

Which fuse goes to the cooling fan

there is fuse and a relay for the cooling fan.just turn ignition on and test all the fuses(some fuses will only work with the system on like headlights/tail lights).check the relay in the relay box(panel)under the hood.you may have a bad cooling fan,you don`t say why your checking the fuse.if you unplug the connector at the cooling fan and jumper a ground wire and power wire it should work.if not then you need a cooling fan motor or assembly.
