The panel should all light up at which point you need to press cancel. This will reset the control board if it can be reset. If you do not have a "heated dry" button use "saver dry" or "air dry"

It sounds like you just need to reset the controller. This is done by running (or partially running) a diagnostic cycle, which will clear the error. Here's how to do it: Depending on the model, and the keys you have, press the following sequence of keys quickly (with less that 1 second between key presses:
Heated Dry - Normal - Heated Dry - Normal; or
High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry; or
Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry; or
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry, High Temp Wash, Heated Dry.
You will know that you have entered the diagnostic cycle when all the lights light up. Let it run for a few minutes, and then press Cancel to stop the diagnostic cycle and clear the error.

Note: On some of the newer Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid dishwashers, you start the diagnostic cycle by rapidly pressing the 3 left-most keys in the following sequence: 1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2 3.

Did you check behind the toe-kick panel for the tech data sheet? Assuming that you have checked and that it is missing, there here is the "secret keystrokes" that will make most Whirlpool/ KitchenAid/Kenmore/Maytag diswashers enter the diagnostic cycle:
Heated Dry - Normal - Heated Dry - Normal; or
High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry; or
Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry; or
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry, High Temp Wash, Heated Dry.

If clean light is blinking then it may be an issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry or high temp wash-heated dry-high temp wash-heated dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

This doe seem that the anti flood system has triggered. This device puts the machiene in pump out mode and shuts off the input water supply.
The device is a safety device that triggers once it detects a water leak (pipe / clamp) and consists of a polystireene float and micro switch at the floor of the washer. First check to see if the float has activated the micro switch and then dry the machiene floor and check for leaks.

press two option button in a sequence- high temp-heated dry-high temp-heated dry.all lights should come and unit will go into diagnostics mode.let it complete the diagnostics mode it will take abt 3-5 min.open the door and u should be able to start the unit.it is a heating err code.if comes back gaing the heating elemnt needs to be chkd.

Press these buttons in succession, within 5 seconds: high temp wash, air dry, high temp wash, air dry. If the sequence is entered properly, all of the control panel LED's will illuminate simultaneously. Once this happens, press the cancel button twice. Now you should run a complete cycle again. If the dishwasher actually has a problem, it will fault again (means the unit isn't heating properly). If not, it's business as usual.

If you have a Kitchenaid. You need to press in this order.... high temp, energy saver dry, high temp, energy saver dry, the lights will all start blinking, after they are done the cycle will start. Press cancel twice. ;)
