LG Viewty email set up

I have an LG Viewty KU990. I want to set up e mail on this but when I choose the email there is no option for settings on the next menu. Am I looking in the wrong place or is there a fault with the software???

When you touch the envelope (messaging) on the welcome screen you come to a Messaging screen. The third icon down is email. Ignore this and scroll down that page to settings and you can set up email there.

Hello, did anyone actually managed to set up emails on viewty?
I've tried GMAIl account as well as a number of other webmails with POP3, but no luck.
if anyone had got it working, would really appriciate if you can tell me how!

(I managed to download gmail's app for email.
it works, but won't tell me when I got a new email,
so only good if I know I've got one)

I have just fixed my mums same problem sending emai, by outing into email onto the top left button with 3 lines on. Then onto settings, then into email accounts, select the email account set up, scroll right down to the bottom to advanced settings and make sure the SMTP TLS/SSL is selected to SSL. This fixed the picture message problem. Hop wit helps

How do I turn my 3G/4G ON on my LG Thrill 4G

If you're an advanced user who's not afraid to enter test menus and tweak setting you will be able to expose a 3G/4G option which will allow you to choose between the two standards. You have to go into the Dialer and call *#*#4636#*#* which will take you to the Thunderbolt's Test Menu. Head over to Phone Information and Set Preferred Network Type according to your liking: available options are LTE and EV-DO, EV-DO only, and LTE only. To switch back, follow the same steps, only this time choose LTE Mode and select CDMA + LTE / EvDo auto. Note: Playing with Advanced Setting and Test Menus is dangerous and you are doing it at your own risk!

Take the LG Optimus 3D, put it on AT&T's network, and what do you have? The LG Thrill 4G. Inside the Thrill 4G is identical to the Optimus 3D... and that's a great thing. With both 3D recording of pictures and videos and the ability to view 3D pictures and videos wihtout the need for special glasses, the LG Thrill 4G will certainly be a thrill for its owners.

Beyond the exciting 3D integration the Thrill has other awesome features as well including a 5MP camera, 4.3-inch screen and rocking Android 2.2 on a dual core porcessor, the LG Thrill 4G for AT&T is destined to please the masses.

Setup for sending pictures to my e-mail address

I have just purchased this phone, and was trying to figure it out myself. I have successfully sent a pic to my email by doing the following: First, I set up my phone book with both my phone number and my email by going to phone book and then "New Entry" There is a place for both phone number and Email there. Next, I went to "Multimedia" ( that's the little Icon that looks like a film strip). then "pictures" while viewing the pic I wanted to send, I pushed the center button and from the resulting menu, I selected "send in message". Then "OK". from the resulting menu, I selected the phone book entry that I set up for myself and that had a little envelope next to it. [or, you might choose "new entry" if you have not already put the email addy into your phone book. choosing "one time entry" did not appear to offer this option.]Then i selected "add" and then "Send" In the next screen there is a form where you can enter stuff like "subject line, or CC and BCC, similar to a email you might send from a 'puter. Then I hit "send" again, and my e-mail started to send. It used up 2.5 minutes to send, and it was 16.39KB. It arrived in my inbox from "[my phone number]@mms.att.net" And had compressed to 12.3KB. This really should be in the manual though, I had to play with it a lot to figure this out. figure it out.
