A programme called se tool lite can reset the code to 0000.

with phone switched off, sim card and memory card
removed press identify then press and hold 'c' then while holding 'c' plug the in. the first time it will ask for drivers which you direct it to wherever you extracted the folder to.
Note: some anti viruses
detect this as a virus, its a false positive and would be advised to
switch off resident shield before you extract file and while you use
this programme, it will not hurt your pc in any way as i have been
using it for years
