Hey Shaya, Try this solution: double click on my computer right click on the Sansa icon Choose Format. This should release your snsa and allow you to upload music again and play it.

SOURCE: Emerson MP3 Player Won't Function

i have the same problem with mine. i just bought it. what i do is just simply hit the "reset" button at the back, and it starts working again. also, if u actually sync songs onto the mp3, it doesnt give that error message for some reason.... the problem i'm having with mine though is that it isnt fully charging no matter how long i leave it plugged in

SOURCE: i keep putting music onto

the problem with this is normally the format. Sony Don.t normally play .WMA files they have to be converted to .Mp3 files. if that doesn't work then some media players need set storage locations to work, look in the instruction Manuel or try sending the info to your device using windows media player

Connect to your computer copy music to a folder and save as whatever name you give it Then format Check the folder with the music in it to see if there is a file thats not MP3 delete it if there is one then replace the musicto the sansa keep about 6MB of free space

Sansa View freezes when music is accessed (I've tried everything)

there mite be a corupted music file that is stopping your system from running properly like a coppy protected file or a virus encrypted file. check all your music that you load to be sure its not copy protected. jsut hover over the music file and wait for the info page to pop up on it it should say if its protected or not if it dosnt say anything then its not protected. as for finding the virus encrypted files thats a little harder just load one song at a time and see if it plays on your mp3

The music that I thought I ripped from cds is not on my mp3?

open the music player by going to "my Computer" and right clicking, then click explore. open the folder that says "music", then just dragg and drop the mp3 files into that folder, wait for them to finish copying and your done.

Please Wait...

the reason that it keeps saying ''please wait'' is beacuase the type of music files you are downloading onto it arent the right type of files to download...remember..mp3 files are the only files you can download to a mp3 player

Cant turn on player

Well plug it into the computer right click on the sansa clip and format it if it wont start then restart it by holding powre for about 10 seconds or so. then try to turn it on...if the thing still wont work download jet audio.(http://www.download.com/JetAudio-Basic/3000-2167_4-10783427.html?tag=lst-1)
and once thats done. you should take all your music on the mp3 and put it onto the desktop in a folder named MUSIC then highlight all the music right click should say somthing about jet audio and edit tag with jet audio then delete Tags....i know this will be the crppiest thing to do cause you have to fill in all the info. this also fixes the frozen refreshing database thing. hope it works
