Since I did the automatic upgrade to the software, I have not been able to download video clips from my CX7330 camera. It locks up and kicks me out whenever it gets to the clip.
Can you transfer a smaller video clip?
If so, the problematic video may be very large and causing a transfer timeout. Try a card reader for transferring the video in question.
Another way to check if this is the problem is to try a selective transfer with the software, if the software can access the video and display the contents without also timing out.
If even small videos fail to transfer, there is a version 7.0 available - released since you posted this email. Maybe that will handle the issue more successfully.
