If you have a voltmeter put the neg. on the neg. of the amp and the pos. to the pos. Must be at least 12v and the small blue wire is the remote wire which also must read 12v when the radio and car are turned on.

If these two have 12v then check the fuses on the side of the amp.

Check the ground to the amp. then check the remote wire. make sure u have the sub option on ur stereo turned on. if all is wired up correct an u do not have the subs turned on in ur stereo settings then the stereo will not send power through the remote wire an therfore your amp will not power on.

SOURCE: amp wont turn on

It's possible the ground is not a good connection. Sometimes it may look good but dirt or corrosion builds up resistance creating a voltage drop where the wire is grounded to the frame.

Air conditioning wont turn of, error code at furnace appears to be 24 - secondary fuse open?

There is a 3 or 5 amp fuse on the control board inside the air handler.
Disconnect power to the air handler, locate the fuse and replace it with a good fuse.
The fuse is the same type used in automobiles.
You can purchase them at a auto parts store.
After replacing and turning on the power there will be a 5 minute delay before the board and thermostat energize.
After 5 minutes set the thermostat for you heat or ac function.
If the new fuse blows a complete diagnostic must be done to the system.

Will it go into protect mode when a fuse is blown?

protect mode is normally when there is to much power running to the amp. if a fuse is blown it normally wont turn on. but take your fuses out hold them to a light and you will be able to see through the fuse. there will be two prongs that will be connected by a U shaped piece of metal. if that piece of metal is still in tacked the fuse is good. you should have a big fuse running with your major power. also check your ground if your ground is loose or has a bad connection. and make sure the the subs go to the amp. if the subs are drawing to much power from you amp it will go on safe mode as in if you have a 2 ohm amp and a 4 ohm speaker. i hope this helps you.

My KAC9105D wont turn on? i had this amp stolen from me a week ago, purchased a new one and hooked it back up to the same wires that had been running the old one the exact same way, and it just lies there...

check your fuse on your power wire, should be under the hood by the battery. if the fuse is good then check to make sure you have a good ground and power on the remote turn on wire. it sounds like a blown fuse though, hope this helps. dave

Amp is off wont turn on..

Check fuses 1 should be on amp other is near battery on the new wire that goes to amp. If both are good check power at main and check remote with system on. If you have power and fuses good, your amp has an internal problem and needs to go to manufacturer for repair.

Your remote turn on not working, you can run accesory power off fuse panel that works only when when key is on or accesory ,then amps will work when car is running or on accesory. Then when you turn car off amps will turn off.

Why doesnt my 2400 watt amp turn on?

The size of the wire affects the performance of an amp, but the amp should still turn on. 12 volts is 12 volts. So you tested with another amp, on the same wires, and it works fine. The only thing you can really check on the new amp is the fuses in the side. If those are blown, then you should be able to (Unless the amp is fried, and that's why it blew the fuses in the first place) fire it right up. If the fuses arent blown, and you have all your power, and ground, and still nothing.. Well then in that case the amp is just bad, and regardless of the wattage, you just don't fix a Pyle amp.

My amp wont turn on

The reason it used to cut-off at 60% volume as you said before,
Is probably due to the "protection circuit mode" being tripped.

You can try resetting it by turning off your CD player ,removing the Batt( + ) and Gnd ( - ) terminals from the amp for a short period. Reconnect them Allow the amp to receive power but not switch on (keep cd player/remote power source off)

If you dont know how to wire the CD player to control the amps power status , the easiest way is to connect the 'power antenna' or similar low voltage throughput wire from the head-unit to the amp's Remote terminal.

My old amp did the same thing ,and would need to be powered off/on before resuming sound output, sometimes I had lots of trouble with the protect mode staying on , even with little or no sound output from headunit.

Amp wont turn on

Sounds like a fuse issue in the power from the amp - the remote circuit could be and probably is completely independent. haven't been able to find confirmation on this, but if you are confident to take the cover off then check (probably)around the area where the power terminals are there may be some fuses. Hope this helps, ask again if not :)
