My device doesn't recognise my PC when I activate Bluetooth. Do i need to upload software from the CD that comes with the ASUS product onto my computer in order for the computer to recognise the ASUS?
When I want to use the wi-fi the ASUS asks for a NETWORK KEY, what is this and where can I find it?

dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/IA/Cannes/E2775_Cannes_Manual.pdf Do it the easy way. In the ASUS turn off dhcp server. Change its ip to the same range but different ip to the netcomm and outside the dhcp range. ie. if the netcomm is 192.168.1.1 and hands out addresses from 2-100 make the Asus 192.168.1.254 which is the top address. (I have no idea what netcomm you have so you will have to figure this out. ) If you want more detail tell us exactly what IP addresses the modem and the Asus are using.
Last step. Plug the modem into a LAN port of the ASUS, not wan. It will then work fine as wireless access point.
unless u have the usb cable that comes with the phone or u buy another 1 the only way to get stuff from your phone to your pc is by having a bluetooth device on your pc then pair it with your phone and send the stuff that way, hope this helps
Bluetooth seems to work for both up and downloading. For uploading make sure the two devices recognise each other. Then select the file in the appropriate KU990 folder. Click in the little text box on the bottom left. Select Send then choose bluetooth and your target, which should be your bluetooth equipped mac.
To download to the KU990 from Mac select send file in the blue tooth icon menu and proceed logically.
Did your friend do a "hard reset" of the PDA before she gave it to you? A hard reset should erase all user settings and data, returning the system to its default state.
The ASUS 626 User Manual (Ch. 1, Pg. 4) refers to this process as a "clean reset". The following instructions were extracted from the user guide:
NOTE To perform a clean reset, press the launch button and simultaneously pressing the stylus on the reset switch. Then a warning message appears. Press to do clean reset, or press to leave the operation screen. Performing a soft reset will not change the data in the device; while performing a clean reset will delete all data
if you're searching for devices via bluetooth, then make sure the device(s) are on/and in pairing mode (usually done by holding down a power button, or combination of buttons) and also sometimes have a setting to become discoverable -make sure thats on too.
Once you have the device in pairing mode, then search from your Asus
You have 2 ways to install Softwares etc. to the Memory Card of your Phone : -
(A) Use the Data Cable that would have accompanied your Phone (See the Box of your Phone for all the articles that came with your Phone). Connect your Computer to the Phone via the Data Cable. Now, follow the Instructions in the Software Guide.
(2) Eject the Memory card from your Phone and insert it in the Card Reader and connect the Card Reader to your PC and follow the Instructions in the Software Guide.
My Asus A639 is also frozen on the blue Heart of Technology screen AGAIN. None of the buttons work, hold button is not active, cannot switch it off. The first time it was fixed by Asus under warrantee - took 5 weeks. The freeze might be related to using GPS software Copilot V6 - not certain.
