If your discussing the crankcase, you can use regular non detergent SAE 30 wt. Do not use the new types of oil as they have additives that may cause harm to the engine.

In my experience with karcher, and other brands, you will be money ahead to replace the pump entirely. Pumps usually cost around $125. There are some times rebuild kits available, but they will often cost over half the amount of an entire pump. Add to that the unloader valve, & you will be way past the cost of a new pump.
Straight 30 wt oil. Be very careful when you fill it because if you over fill it, it will seize and if you under fill it wont get proper lube. The amount is about 2.5 oz.
Precision measurement of lubricant is completely unnecessary. Simply apply a sufficient amount of lubricant to all parts to partially saturate all pivots and bearings without applying so much as to make a mess.
you mean water in the pump oil ??? or engine oil ???
im suspecting pump oil... you didn\'t seal it properly or you have a crack somewhere in the main housing. rarely is it viable to repair these pumps... if you search a little you can find replacements pretty damn cheap !!!
yes, the pump can be replaced but I would recommend trying to repair the pump first, see this link to repair the unloader valve, 9 times out of 10 this is the only issue with the pump
Karcher Model G2650 OH with Honda 6.0 HP, GC 190 Engine. Engine won't start. New gas, has spark. Seems to flood instantly. Much gas in cylinder. Spark plug wet. Choke pulled out, power on. Oil OK. released pressure in line. Where can I down load a Honda Engine manual! Thank you !
It is normal for a small amount of oil (usually a smokey vapor) to pass from the crankcase breather into the air filter. However, if your having an excessive amount of oil then the the stem seals on the valves have hardened and it is allowing oil to pass along the valve stem through the valve guide through the breather and into the air filter. The remedy is to replace the stem seals under the valve springs inside the cylinder head.
One other thing that will do it is if someone overfilled the engine crankcase with oil. This will cause massive amounts of oil to be pumped into the air filter.
Hello rr61 If the pump is leaking you will not get pressure. You need to get the leak fixed. Where is it leaking from? Leaning back to star and run sounds like the motor oil is low. You are "tricking " the low oil sensor. I would change the oil and be sure it has the correct amount.
small engine shop should be able to obtain the proper gasket for you.....oil 20 weight fill untill you can see it at the bottom of the threads at the whole you pour it into!
It sounds like you are referring to the oil in the swash plate housing. You can use a multi grade motor oil such as 20w50 or 10w40. Fill to about half way over the swash plate. If the old oil has gone amilky colour, please replace the oil seals first.
