Question about AT&T 8925 Tilt Smartphone

1 Answer

Finding a specific ringtone.

I have looked all over for my favorite ringtone: FRANK SINATRA singing NEW YORK from "On the Town" - not NEW YORK NEW YORK which is everywhere. I had this ringtone on my old phone. I can only find it on Italian and Dutch websites but cannot purchase and download for AT&T. I am willing to join one of these monthly things for this one song. Does anyone know how I can purchase it?

At&T sales rep tried this but couldn't do it. Since I had bought it, he thought it might be copywrited. If anyone has another soluction it would be much appreciated.

I need to know how to delete ringtones and how to assign ringtones to contacts

to delete ringtones, open the file explorer application from progams. navigate to device\my documents\ my ringtones , select the ones you want and delete. nice and ease. set a new ringtone either in the sound and notifications section of settings, or on a file, tap and hold on the screen on a file you wish to have as a ringtone and select "set a ringtone". if you are looking for these as a message tone you need to convert the file to a .wav file and import this to the windows folder on the device then select in the sounds and notifications tab in settings.

assigning tones to contacts can only be done if your contacts are outlook contacts, not sim contacts. open and edit a contact, scroll down to ringtone, although again with these i belive the file must be a .wav file and be located in the windows directory.

I don't have any ringtones on my phone or I am looking in the wrong place.

Hi,
1. Go to 'setup'. SELECT IT.
2. It has the first option as 'Ringer Alert Style'. SELECT THAT.
3. You will find type of alert styles like: Ring Loud / Ring Soft / Vibe and Rig Loud etc.
4. Select the ringer type you use (You will not get any ringtones on silent or vibrate mode).
5. Select Edit. You will now find options of ringtones.
Hope this solves your problem.
