Alarm keeps going off about 15 mins after doors are locked.the car is a w reg ford mondeo.the car has to lie overnight with its doors unlocked.

Some help here, but you might need to go to an alarm installer to reprogram.

Your door locks are controlled by a control module . GEM - generic electronic module . Watch this video ! Door Locks Go Crazy 1 You possibly have a bad door switch .

CAR ALARM ISSUES

It can be any of the car doors not got properly locked or the door is locked but the switch is not sensing the door locked. Open and close each door again properly.

Or else its problem with any of switch wiring getting in contact with alarm wiring causing it to happen.

And last thing alarm connections need to be inspected. It's getting short somewhere in between.

try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 15 min and then reconnect, have remote on hand, some alarms go off when the battery is reconnected.

I will say you are having problem with central locking vacuum module.Either that or you are loosing vacuum in the central locking system some where.Diagnostic procedure can be pain in the ***.I would advise you to locate the Module and follow the lines to each door.If rubber vacuum lines are not thorn,I would go and get to salvage yard and get me another module that would be much cheaper.Also there is two relays.One is for unlocking and other one for locking.Try those first before anything else.Usually humidity and cold could damage them.Hope I could help you.

I have ford mondeo ghia 2002.
when i press the button on the remote-key, I can lock and unlock the powerlock (in the door).
When I press the button un the door, not all doors are locked.

What's the reason?

there is a sensor in the drivers door that senses the door is locked or unlocked, if the sensor is defective the alarm will sound.

make sure it is not in valet mode ,check batteries in remote from 7to 10 feet

in the door is a switch that tells the alarm to activate start there

had this before but with a variety of faults ..boy racer alarm .take it off and invest in a decent steering wheel cover/lock ,fault in lock itself on drivers side as its used the most till i done one with the passenger side lock ,now that throw me .try throwing the boy racer sunday driver alarm away
