You might have turned on the sync option. Go onto your own home page on Facebook app on your timeline hit photos scroll to the bottom and there is a sync button on the right tap that if you haven't synced your photos then it ain't that which is causing your problems but if you have synced them simply turn off the photo sync.
here's the procedure to unlock without hard reset:
1) create a new gmail account on the computer. 2) call your cell phone with a different phone. 3) answer your cell phone then hit the back button and it will take you to the home screen. 4) turn on wifi so it can do data and voice at the same time (remember that the phone is still connected) 5) go to Settings -> Location & Security and disable lock pattern (you'll need to enter to correct pattern previously set) 6) go to Settings -> Accounts & Sync and click "Add Account" and add your newly created Gmail account. 7) hang up the phone. 8) turn the phone back on, at the lockout screen, enter your new Gmail account info and it should let you back in 9) once the phone is unlocked, you can go in setting and remove the newly added Gmail account and keep the old one.
Sounds like you have to have the software reloaded. PDA phones are like computers and when they start getting tons of errors or resets its time to reload or check for updated software. Your local cell phone can tell you if there are updates and reload software
Not much in the way of details here. What did you do before it did this? You may need to restore the phone using itunes.
Next time you turn it on (or off) hold the power and the home button for a while and wait. When you see the apple, let go of the power button, but still hold the home button (the one on bottom face of the phone). This should put it in restore mode, if you do this while it's plugged in to your computer (itunes open as well), iTunes should recognize that it's not right, and try to repair or reload the OS.
Good luck, try that, and let me know how it goes.
Just a reminder, if anything's not synced, it will be deleted from the phone during a restore.
