To turn the wireless OFF.Follow the instruction.
1.Push the SETUP button 2.Press down arrow key until you see "NETWORK" 3.Highlight it and press OK 4.There Look for WIRELESS RADIO by pressing the Down/Up arrow key. 5.Select WIRELESS RADIO Highlight it and press OK. 6.Now select OFF to turn Off the Wireless transmitter in your Printer.

1) Uninstall your printer. 2) Hook up the original usb cable to your laptop, as you did when you originally hooked up the printer. 3) Reinstall the printer with the disk as if it were fresh out of the box. 4) Remember to do exactly as the disk's instructions tell you to do.
If the ink cartridges aren't Dell compatible then you have just wasted ($35).
if the wireless blue light is blinking, it means it's not connected to the router or it's not communicating with it.If wireless blue light is solid ,it means it's connected to the network.
you will need to reconnect the printer to the network by using a USB cable.it will configure the wireless connection.
to start the installation ,click on the start button on the computer
click on programs or all programs depending on the operating system on the computer
look for the HP folder and then left-click on it
inside the HP folder,left-click on DESKJET 3050a or DESKJET 3050 series
inside the DESKJET 3050 folder, left-click on product setup and software
left-click on connect a new printer
it will open up a page with options on how to connect the printer
select wireless and then hit next
if you are prompted to connect the usb ,please connect it
if it asks you whether printer is connected to the network,select no
click on next
if usb is already plugged in,tick the box that says it's already plugged in
wait for the prompt to unplug the cable
try printing wirelessly

The blue light on your printer shows the status of the wireless connection. If the light is flashing then this means that it is trying to connect to a network.
A solid light means that it has connected to a wireless network.

First off, did you try to recycle your printer? Turn it off and back on again. Sometimes power outages can disconnect that printer. If that doesn't work. Go to the printer and access the system network configuration on the led panel. Type in the WEP number and password again, and let it search for the connection. That should do it. Once it's connected you'll see the blue wireless indicator turn on.
