Question about Creda W100FW Front Load Washer

Too much soap???

Hey.
Over confident, I put a twin comforter in my front loading Simplicity and may have also added too much (liquid) detergent. It's backed up now. I've drained through the bottom drainage hole about 3-4 litres of water the end amounts were soapy. What do I do now? There are no clumps. Do I remove the wet and sloppy comforter, or can I leave it in there and continue to run it as a full wash again (and again)???

One way or another - you're going to have to get that comforter into a spin cycle to get the water out of it. Otherwise it won't dry out until June. If there's excess soap when the cycle finishes, run another full wash without soap. If the washer won't drain properly with the comforter inside, you have another problem altogether.

When in wash it dosent remove all soap powder from clothes

I don't know how you are administering the soap powder to the machine..but for one, its recommended that you use detergent thats made exclusively for the front loader washer, usually says "he" on the front of the LIQUID detergent, they recommend that you use liquid detergent on top of that, BUT if you have to use regular powder detergent it must be put inside the tub and NOT the pull out detergent drawer. The reason why they want you to use liquid is because the powder detergent is not concentrated and when you use it, it lathers up alot and its harder for the front loader machine to clean out the clothes and I was told that they (sales agents) have heard of soap suds and bubble floods coming from the machine due to either using the powder detergent or using too much. Hope that this helps!!

Do I put powder detergent in the same place I put Liquid detergent?

Detergent compartment
Add liquid or powdered detergent to this compartment for your
wash cycle. The detergent separator must always be in place,
either in the front or back position.
Do not fill beyond the “MAX” level.
Liquid or powdered color-safe bleach may be added to the
Main Wash compartment along with the same type of
detergent, liquid or powdered.
Liquid detergent: Put the SEPARATOR in the front position,
between the guides, as shown as shown by Position 1 below.
There will be no gap between the bottom of the wash cycle detergent
compartment and the bottom of the separator.

Powdered detergent:
Put the SEPARATOR in the back
position, behind the guides as shown by Position 1 below. There will be
a gap between the bottom of the wash cycle detergent
compartment and the bottom of the separator.

NOTE: The separator will be in the POWDER (back) position
when shipped from the factory.

Yes! any kind of liquid soap is ok for your front loader. HE soaps are just a little better in the front loaders so yes you can still use your liquid soap.

Is powder or liqued detergent better for front

They are trying to make money off you!!!!!!! LIQUID!!!! Dont ever!!! use powder soap in your front loader. Powder soap doesnt dissolve all the way and then gets into the bearings of the washer and eats them away! This caused about a 450 dollar repair for your repairman. Never use powder soap.

SOAP DISPENSING

The soap dispenser is intended for both liquid and powder detergents. If you have a problem with mildew, then you may need to clean it occasionally with bleach water.
