There is usually a hot room in the house. Check your vent see if there is good airflow and if its cold. Then Check your windows and doors in your house. Good curtains and Insulation of the house are key. You lose most of your heating and cooling through doors and windows, sealed well or not. Thick curtains will make your house colder/warmer and lower your power bill.

Campbell 5 hp 26 gallon compressor. Why isn't air pressure indicated on gages?

If you run the compressor with the gauges removed, does air come out of that port? If yes, does the compressor build up enough pressure when the gauges are attached to give you enough air pressure at the end of the hose? If yes, then the gauges are bad.
If you are not getting enough air pressure to do any work, then there is still a problem with the compressor. Check the unloader valve (release valve) on the pressure switch to make sure it's not leaking when the compressor is running.

Roughf idol and tries to die at a stop

The problem will be in
Fuel - not getting enough, blocked line, plugged injectors
Air - dirty air filter, obstruction in air intake

Im leaning toward the fuel, you may need to replace the fuel filter, it may be restricting the flow.
