How do I know what speakers fit my car? I have a 2007 saab 9-3 convert I don't know the size of my front and back speakers. I keep hearing various sizes 6.5 for the fronts and 5.25 for the back, I've also heard 3.25 for the back. I've been told to look at Boston Acoustics Brand maybe the component kind 75- 90 RMS. Please Help! How would these do? BOSTON ACOUSTICS PRO60 6.5 CAR AUDIO COMPONENT SPEAKERS

Yeah, I did that already. They didn't know either... All they knew if I blew a speaker they would just order the same one that came w/ the car. Thanks for trying.

The very easiest way to check is to click this link to go to the "Outfit My Car" section of They will tell you exactly what size speakers the car came with.

Wow! That's the first time I've seen Crutchfield have no data on a car. Well, there's a very small chance that calling Crutchfield will get you a different answer. Another option is to call your local Saab dealer (with your VIN handy) and they should be able to tell you what size they are. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

are the antenna wires touching? is it properly grounded to the chassis? is it shoved all the way into the back of the stereo?
also this is a foreign car, does it have a stereo that's digital? American standard these days is digital, you could be picking up analog signal from police, emergency, or commercial that still use analog... its really hard to tell with this and very little information, also i know it probably has a small or large hole for the antena wire for the vehicle wiring in the back of the stereo, is the antenna wiring the correct size? ie, does it wiggle in the hole or is it of proper fit?

Speaker spec 94 saab 900s

Hello gurlover88,

You can use Crutchfield's "Outfit my car" tool to see the speaker sizes of most all vehicles. For a '94 Saab 900S sedan it shows 6X9's for the rear.

Hope this helps.

Crutchfield generally knows what they're talking about... To be sure, remove the speaker and measure. The different sizes may both fit.

Hello i would like to add a din head unit a few 6/9s and maybe a sub if poss into my saab 9-3 vector sport 56 plate is it possible with my existing 7 factory fitted speakers so that when i come to sell my...

My suggestion is to go to your local audio shop and pickup a dash kit and wiring harness to hook up the din head unit. I actually wouldn't recommend putting in aftermarket speakers unless you don't plan on reselling or they are blown. You could hook a sub up by running your power wire to your amp like usual, hook your amp turn-on wire to an accessory wire and buy a "line level converter" you will tap into factory speaker wires with this and it will convert it to RCAs. You will only need to do this if you are using the factory head unit. Also, unless the aftermarket unit has features that you want that the factory one doesn't, I wouldn't bother with that either. Good luck. Let me know if you need any more help.
