On the bottom of the PS2 thre are roughly 6 out-of-place squares. Pry these off. Underneath are the screws.
Once you have the screws off, start prying carefully around the edges of the top half. The keyword is "carefully". There are a multitude of clasps that hold the top case to the console. There are also wires running to the buttons above the disk drive. You must absolutely careful not to snap or nick them, or else you'll be buying another PS2.
make sure that the av cable is all the way in and tight or if its like being moved when u are playin with it cause the av cable may like shake and may cause flickering
