First off u should use ac delco platnum! wen u open the hood look for the tag that says catalyst it will say engine size ect it will tell you the proper gap!

dude, so simple, go to any parts store or call, if you go in person and need plug gap info, it will say on the box, have the store guys give you the gap info, NGK has many different types of plugs for the 3.6 and each may require different gaps. The NGK spec for that motor is a gap of 0.043 in. for the IRIDIUM spark plugs.
The earlier 1999 Discovery uses NGK BKR6E plugs or equivalent and the gap is 0.8 mm (0.025"). The later 1999 Discover uses NGK PFR6N-11 plugs or equivalent and the gap there is 1.1 mm (0.043")
