Printed paper path

My kyocera fs-c5030n printer has worked fine until today. all of a sudden the paper is coming out of the rear of the printer and not on the top where it always has. after every page that exits out the back, the lcd display says paper jam, but there isn't one. i have checked the printer all over as best i can. i cannot see anything out of place and no reason why the paper is exiting out the back. this printer has one paper tray and no rear mounted optional duplexer. can anyone help ? thanx, ralph aiello

    TO IB4G2008,
THANX BUT IN THE MENU MAP THE SETTINGS SAY "STACK SELECT, TOP TRAY, FACE DOWN" AND IT STILL PRINTS FACE UP OUT THE BACK. I CANNOT FIND ANY "PRINT MANAGER SETTINGS" IN THE MENU MAP.
    THANX,
    RALPH

This happened me today. The guide at the back was jammed down. Open the back cover and make sure the bar across the back isn't stuck directing the paper down. Unfortunately this was after calling Kyocera and calling out a technician.

Try Contacting kyocera customer support. They might be able to help. You may have also put the printer or your computer in the wrong mode. Try checking that first. If it doesn't help, contact their support by clicking here.

Hope this helps :)

Sure...check your print manager settings, first, to see if that exit tray is selected as default..
