and download and try the free trial version. After 30 days you will need to register the software, but it is so goo and makes the programming so easy, you will spend the $30.00. Also, to save the typing (especially for the trunked radio systems) sign up at:
http://www.radioreference.com/ . If you are a member, they have frequencies data bases that will talk to the Starrsoft software and load the frequencies you select (including the more complicated trunked systems) into your Starrsoft programs, saving you hours of typing. (I am not monetarily connect with either other than being a grateful member.)
It is easiest to do with softwear, There are free versions that work great.
